This following YouTube video touches upon the reason for the next moon landing. It has been discovered that the Moon has a gas called Helium-3 that can be used for our energy. Apparently this gas is very expensive and which ever nation gets to the Moon first can become very rich by bringing this back to Earth. I read some viewers comments that got me thinking - if someone were to land on the Moon and bring some of this gas back, how would that affect the Moon? How would it affect space? I wonder if enough research has really been made that we could know if bringing this could actually be harmful for us..
There's also been talk of a website which advertises the sale of property on the Moon. Quite ridiculous but even in a recession people with money don't know where to spend it..Christopher Barnatt explains Helium-3 and how we can use it. You can also search for Helium-3 on YouTube and find a lot more information.
